Free Place on Anterior Eye Day

PHN offers a limited number of free places at Eyecare 3000 Contact Lens and Anterior Eye Day

PHN is pleased to offer to existing or new registrants a day place worth £150 (to non Eyecare members) and £50 to existing Eyecre 3000 members.

All you need to do is email us as long as you are registered on the site with the magic code

CET Scheme

The new CET cycle started on January 1st 2007. This means that 36 points are needed by the end of December 2009 to remain on the GOC register. If you have any areas of specialisation you will be required to collect more specialist points. Optometrists on the therapeutics registers will need a further 18 points in this area and Contact Lens DOs will need an additional 18 contact lens points.

You will also now need to ensure that any CET you attend or complete is approved your target group (ie optometrists, dispensing optician, or contact lens opticians). CET can be approved for more than one target group and the CET provider should make it clear which groups the CET has been approved for.
